Long hair-don't care




Celebrities, influencers and social media icons are all over your Instagram promising that their product is the LONG HAIR SECRET. Not sure who to believe? Well you've come to the right place.

Although I myself have been admittedly unsuccessful in my quest for longer hair, my in depth search has helped me uncover some useful hair hacks from around the world. 

Here are my top tips for growing your hair out quickly.
TIP 1: NO HEAT
Anyone else lie when their hairdresser asks "Do you use much heat on your hair?" yep me too. This one may seem obvious but if you want your hair to grow then step number one is to stop frying it.

TIP 2: BIOTIN
Biotin helps your body convert the carbohydrates and fats you consume into energy it can use. Thus biotin can promote hair growth and strengthen thinning hair. Biotin can be found in eggs, fish, meat products and milk. If your diet is mainly plant based then taking one biotin tablet daily should sort you right out.

TIP 3: HAIR SKIN& NAILS TABLETS
If you want a vitamin that ticks a lot of boxes then here is your golden ticket! Top ingredients to look out for are tablets that contain biotin (targeting skin) zinc (targeting your hair) vitamin c and selenium (good for strong nails).

TIP 4: EVENING PRIMROSE OIL
Evening primrose oil can be taken in the form of capsules or applied to the scalp to prevent hair loss. Within a few days these tablets will make your hair feel shinier and fuller. TAKE CAUTION as these tablets can make your skin oilier.

TIP 5: ARGAN OIL
Split ends are the devil. They tend to break right up the hair strand and scupper any chance of hair growth. To fight off split ends try applying a small amount of argan oil to ends while it is still wet. Not only is it relatively inexpensive but it smells lush too.
